Not to "Crash" the party but this is a 2-0 fastball right down the pipe.

I'm the biggest champion of the three wide base offense, the three wide base offense Haley hates.

But on the rare instances he does it to start games? The offense dominates.

2013 Lions game: 20 first half points. Number of combined snaps backups #46, #81, and #82 saw in the first half? ZERO.

2014 Browns game: 24 first half points. Number of combined snaps backups #46, #82, and #89 saw in the seasons opening 25 minutes? Three.

2015 49ers game: 29 first half points on drives 2 through 5: Number of combined snaps backups #45, #46, and #89 saw on those 4 drives? ZERO.

When Haley does it MY way, which is also BEN'S way, he's a lot smarter.

The problem is, he doesn't do it nearly enough because HE has to be more involved rather than just winning by using the talent on offense.

A four year F-ing clusterfluck. You think it's bad on TV? Watch a game in person from behind the bench. It's a zoo.

During the Bills game in 2013? Backup TE Mike Palmer went on and off the field FOUR TIMES, in the span of ONE commercial break.

This is why IMO Ben forces passes to Miller and Brown at times. They are the ONLY TWO pass catchers who have consistent snap counts week to week. The rest is like mystery meat in at lunch time. No one knows.

And you know if this constant subbing is happening during games? It also happens in practice.

Just a total unprofessional, amateur, confusing setup that has no chance to win anything of significance.

I often wonder why we take timeouts at odd times due to personnel confusion. One time it was right after a commercial break.

So, why did the Steelers bother to sign Ben, Tomlin and Haley to contract extensions recently?

Things I learned from Crash:

They did it because JR hates Ben. Ben "would never sign an extension" with Haley as OC because he hates Haley. Ben hates Haley because Haley limits Ben so that Ben can have the most prolific passing season in Steeler history.

THEREFORE
.Art JR used some kind of sorcery to force poor Ben to sign to have him suffer under Haley for the rest of his career. How spiteful of Rooney!

Fair enough. While Ovi is again posting to tell us all how he is right, I still didn't see anybody in the thread saying that Whiz was a better HC. He's a damn good OC with an impressive track record. Why Ovi feels the need to crap on everybody who has left the organization, I don't know. Particularly where Whiz was a loyal soldier, not a Mike Wallace type who left while moaning about his contract...
