Dumb thread. Ben was suppose to be out 4-6 weeks and you actually have some advocating rushing him back at 4 and risking the rest of the season.

One of the NFL wrap up shows said that Tomlin believes Ben will play against Cincy.

Let's go ahead and suit up our franchise QB, whose injured knee is not yet nimble enough to avoid pressure in the pocket, and put him up against Tamba Hali (facing backup LT Alejandro Villenueva in his first NFL start), Dontari Poe (facing backup C Cody Wallace), and Justin Houston (facing Marcus Gilbert), and just see what happens...

        Wheeee!!!

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

According to Ron Cook this morning, Ben had a flareup after Thursday's practice and a "bad night". Said he couldn't sleep. No practice Friday. This wasn't precautionary, he wasn't able to play.

It actually looked like we were trying to set up the run today by passing the ball and forcing defenders out of the box. Two picks and a fumble by Jones...as well as a failed 4th down conversion with D-Will was the result.

Yeah the tackling, pressure, and overall play by the defense was nothing short of pathetic, but it was only matched today by the offensive game plan.

I haven't been a Haley basher, but today he sucked.
Bell had 17 carries, 4 catches, 3 of which were late in the game. They took him out on every short yardage situation in the first half. Went over a quarter without a touch.

Haley is a toolbox. He thinks he's got to show how clever he is and in doing so, underuses his best players.

I hope to God the rumors of him going to Miami are true.

Have the Steelers ever had an OC that most fans were happy with? Please don't say Chan Gailey.

We *always* hate our coaches. DL escaped it for a while, but we were all pretty sick of the 40 yard cushion on 3rd and 25.

At least we were smart enough to avoid having him as a Head Coach

Ken Whisenhunt's record in his last 34 games as a head coach? 4 wins, 30 losses...seriously, it's that bad. He's 1-5 so far this year in Tennessee. He was 2-14 last year in Tennessee. And in his final season in Arizona in 2012, the Cards started out 4-0, but then lost all but one of their remaining games that year.

No... and unless your offense is getting you deep into the playoffs why would you be happy with the OC?

I hate to pull the "you people" card, but you people are clueless... Haley has gotten:
-our franchise QB playing the best football of his career (check his stats the last three years)
-arguably our 2nd best player, Le'veon Bell had like 400 touches last year catching and receiving the ball
-our best WR has been the most productive receiver in the NFL the last two years

                              "Underuses his best players"???
I wasn't hired for my disposition.
