    Villanueva. And he moved people.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Villanueva and he did well, Jones wasn't hurried from the blind side and there were some holes for Bell over the left side. I'll leave it to Oline gurus to give you the details, but from what I saw he played really well.

I thought Villanueva did real well today and preseason. I feel confident with him in there in place of Beachum. The guys a beast and he's only going to get better.

would be interested to know if an offer was ever put on the table before the season started

Not adding insult to injury but like I said in an post earlier this year, Beach had been one of our worst lineman this year and he started the day getting abused.

Maybe so, steelhere. He did the best he could. I am not pleased about his injury but maybe it gave an opportunity to Villanueva, and maybe that ends up being a good thing. That's sports. An injury to Wally Pipp in 1925 gave Lou Gehrig a chance to play and he became one of the greatest ever.

I think AV can be real good. He csnt play any worse than Beach has been playing that's for

Yep. Beachum was probably having his worst year as a Pro. If he was playing for a contract he forgot you need to excel. Maybe he was taking a page out of the Mike Wallace playbook and playing not to get hurt. No matter, it sucks for him because he just lost millions.

Beachum doesn't seem like that kind of guy. I think he just had a year last year where all the stars aligned... he probably just wasn't that good. He still seems like he can be a solid player, which is fine by me. Hope he recovers fully. Seems like a good character guy.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Just a shame for Beachum. While overachieving was his specialty, he really was a high character guy.

That being said, I am very excited for Villanueva.

Yes, Beachum is a good guy and made us forget about not having a talented enough left tackle. I wish him a speedy recovery and I'm in Villanuevas corner and believe he can be a player for years to come.
