While we are on the subject, might as mention that our senile former D.C. lead his new team to 4 sacks and 2 interceptions.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Helped that their rookie QB became the first player ever to have a perfect QB rating in his very first game.

Didn't reach the 20 pass attempt threshold to make it official before they pulled him for Mettenberger, though.

So now defenses are measured by their own teams QB play??

I was sorry when they let McCain go. Should have kept him.

Should we have paid him nearly 6M for a two year deal? I don't think so personally.

Man I really wanted Whisenhunt to coach us. That team has a lot of talent on it. That said. The Bucs may be the worst team in football with a complete bust at QB and dare I say an even worse coach than us

Nonetheless, while it's way too early to say who will have the last laugh, I think LeBeau (LeBooey?) did chuckle for a split-second last night, just before nodding off.

Tennessee "has a lot of talent" but won only two games last year. What coach made a bloody mess of that?

Playing from behind vs. playing with a big lead..

He solidified a shaky unit last season. Now what do the Steelers have back there? Their hope is that Cortez, whom they're also paying big money to, comes around. I hope so, too, but if the last game is any indication, he hasn't yet. And there's a reason McCain was ahead of Antwon Blake in the lineup last year.

Boykin should be an upgrade over McCain. I like McCain a little more than Blake, but I don't think he's worth $3 million per year.

What little I saw of Mariota tells me this guy could be a star in the NFL for years. Wasn't only his veteran decisionmaking but his ball placement was nothing short of amazing. Want to see how he does against a legit NFL defense but for a rookie first game his arrow is pointing way up.

I'll be rooting for him vs. Cleveland this weekend!
