If Sushi can't even be ready by the start of TC, I'd think that would pretty much seal the Steelers' decision.

Boswell was great last season and so far he's been able to refrain from posting a million shirtless pics on social media and destroying a Sheetz in the offseason; so I'm fully on board with him being the starting kicker for this upcoming campaign.

regardless of injury, boswell is/was the logical choice

Yup. Keeping the younger, cheaper guy with the bigger leg isn't a tough call at all.

Absolutely...I was just hoping that Sushi would be well enough to participate in training camp and get in a little bit of preseason action to entice another kicker-desperate team to flip us a 2017 late round pick for him.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Yeah - it would be nice if they could flip him for a conditional 6th or 7th rounder, but that doesn't look very likely right now.
