He sounds like a guy we could use. I think it hurts us not having a true FS on the field ... someone with good ball instincts who could come up with a few turnovers would be nice.I like him as a FS, always have...combine got people lumping him in with CBs and I dont really agree with that.
But the steelers defense he probably could play CB, but he has been traditionally a good outside man to man CB and running fast at the combine doesnt change thatAs many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.
but Go Steelers!!!

He and Harold to me are IDEAL second round picks that unfortunately may go in round one.
They absolutely need a FS that can play both single high and come up to man up on a WR every now and then....Rowe and Shaw are both ideal for that role. Shaw being faster and he hits like a truck, Rowe probably a little smoother in coverageComment

Elite and "sh&*&y" are on opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to Steeler secondary performance. They don't have to be one or the other. When Troy Polamalu, Ike Taylor, and Ryan Clark were in their prime, the secondary certainly wasn't anywhere close to "sh&*&y" and that was all that long ago.Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

Thanks, thats what i was going to say, but i might add before that we had the Lake/Woodson era, and farther back was the Blount/Shell era. So no, i dont think the Steelers are known for a @#* secondary, particularly in the same way that the Browns are known for ^&@ quarterbacks.Elite and "sh&*&y" are on opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to Steeler secondary performance.
