If living in paradise & living the life of luxury wasn't the reason I look upon you northerners with pity, I'd almost be offended...

From now on, we'll just have to refer to Chadman as Aussie Newsome.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Perhaps this is to make up for missing out on quarterback turned workout warrior turned wideout turned cokehead Matt Jones a few years back. Many thanks to Jacksonville for taking that guy ahead of us, thereby allowing Heath Miller to fall into our laps instead.

Seriously, though, this Jones is similar in size (over 6' tall and about 230 lbs.) and should be drafted around the same area (5th or 6th round) as Vince Williams' brother, fellow Sunshine State RB Karlos Williams.

Id say Williams and Jones are heavy favorites to be steelers if they are there in round 5-6

I think they would absolutely take Yeldon in 3 though

I remember the endless threads on the Trib Board devoted to Matt Jones.

I know there is a mini-board crush on Maxx Williams, but I find it interesting how many lower round TE's the Steelers have shown interest in.

I'm not sure what the Steelers will do at RB, but I'd predict if we do see a RB drafted, that Dri Archer might become the #4/#5 WR instead of getting lost in the shuffle at RB. Or he could be a multi-tool type. Either way, I'd say he'll play more snaps at WR.

Might mean VERY little, but he's an impressive interview guy. Comes across as pretty intelligent, articulate. I'd imagine in one-on-one interview meetings, he'd be quite popular.

i dont think our rb situation is too bad. i cant see a pick before round 5, honestly.
i think cb, s and olb would be taken even if yeldon is there.

Yeldon is very similar to bell and would be good value in 3...deangelo is what? 32? And who even knows if bell is in the plans to sign long term (I hope he is) but we've seen how tough it can be for teams to spend top dollar on a RB.

Definitely not ideal, but good value nonetheless. I'd say Williams or jones late is more likely

Grant OSU corner in for visit. He could be a good value pick. Excellent speed and if we go corner twice he may be on the radar.
