2015 NFL Draft: Steelers reportedly hosting North Dakota State standout Kyle Emanuel for pre-draft visit

The Pittsburgh Steelers have given small school athletes an opportunity in the past, and that trend continues when FCS standout Kyle Emanuel has scheduled a visit with the Steelers.
The Pittsburgh Steelers aren't ones to shy away from finding small school talent for the NFL. Whether it was Nate Washington from Tiffin University, or even Howard Jones from Shepherd University the team isn't scared to give small school talent a shot. With that said, It should come as no surprise to anyone who closely follows the team that they are bringing in FCS standout DE/OLB Kyle Emanuel from North Dakota State for a pre-draft visit.
Emanuel had a dominant Senior season for the Bisons with 19.5 sacks and played extremely well against top 10 teams in 2014 registering 10 sacks in 8 games against high-end opponents. Emanuel had a solid NFL Scouting Combine running the 40-yard dash in 4.77 seconds and 27 reps on the 225-pound bench press.
Emanuel was a standout with North Dakota State and received All-American honors for his efforts. Whether he gets his chance with the Steelers or another NFL franchise will be decided at the NFL Draft on April 30th.

Kentucky pass-rusher Bud Dupree drawing more interest

As Nebraska’s Randy Gregory’s stock slips with a failed marijuana test, there may be a pass-rusher in this year’s draft who ends up going higher than previously though.
Via Chase Goodbread of the NFL Network, Kentucky pass-rusher Bud Dupree had meetings on campus this week with a pair of teams picking in the top dozen, the Falcons (eighth overall )and Browns (12th and 19th).
Dupree was previously considered a late-first-round prospect, so it’s not a huge surprise that teams looking for pass-rush help would be looking at him.
At 6-foot-4, 269 pounds, he has the kind of frame that allows teams that play a 4-3 to project him to defensive end, though some view him as more of a 3-4 outside linebacker. Either way, his 4.56-second 40 and 42-inch vertical leap show the kind of explosiveness he has, and his 23.5 sacks at Kentucky indicates he’s not just a workout warrior.
With a pack of pass-rushers at the top of the draft, the order is going to be a matter of debate, and individual preference.
But it seems Dupree might be higher up the list than previously anticipated.

I think Dupree is the most polarizing player in this draft. Scouts either love him or are scared of him. I fall into the latter. He just doesn't seem strong enough to be a first round pick. He gets locked up and pushed around much too easy for a man of his size. He reminds me a bit of Jason Worilds. I think Dupree can be above average, just don't see elite player here.
The guy I believe who falls will be Beasly, and I hope the Steelers let him fall right past them.Trolls are people too.Comment

Ray is polarizing...you have his production on one hand, yet the lack of measurables on the other - kinda reminds you of Jarvis Jones when he came out. I just think he's too much like Jones to pick, we need a presence to replace Worilds & in Dupree I see a semblance to Suggs...he just needs some coaching.It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust & sweat & blood...Comment

While I know he was up against FCS competition, he was dominant. Looked like JJ Watt out there. Powerful, quick first step, plays to the whistle, violent player.
