Well I have Ben's future replacement

    Cardele Jones-QB tOSU, go Bucks.

I know others are making the comparison but it's evident. Jay Cutler's arm, Ben's strength, and ice water in his veins.
    The kid is a gamer.

    Don't forget "butter fingers".

Sorry, couldn't resist. Kid did play very well last night, even through some pretty horrendous mistakes.

If he goes back to tOSU, it could very well be an open competition with JT Barrett that Jones might lose...

He's got the size, the arm, the athleticism and he is not intimidated by huge games.

Also, this seems to be a weak QB draft class in 2015.

After the B1G Ten championship, he made it clear that he wasn't there to go to school...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I feel kind of bad for him, hes in the ****tiest of ****ty situations.

He cant go back to OSU, hes got two heisman caliber QBs in front of him who fit the offense better. He won a B1G champtionship, a sugar bowl, and an NC by making tough runs and big time throws but can you declare after 3 games? I dont really think so. Can he afford to sit out a year? I dont really think so.

If he declares hes probably a 5th or 6th round pick that is 2 years away from being 2 years away from being ready, but hes got some insane physical tools.

Some team could work him out and lose their freaking mind though

I'd start Jones over both guys. Great size, great arm. Very strong pocket awareness for a guy that has very little college playing experience. He doesn't get rattled. If I were braxton miller or Jt Barret I'd be worried.

To be honest even if he was a 1st round pick I think he's 2-3 years away from being ready for the NFL. He has the physical tools without question and the intangibles, but it seemed to me that he was a little slow getting through the reads and through some balls late that ended up being under thrown or nearly defended because they were late. In the NFL that is dangerous. He was outstanding last night though.

The offensive line was tremendous as well all night.

Jones is actually in a good situation if he opts for the NFL. He will not be expected to start soon and he can sit and learn like QBs use to do. May make him a better QB in the long run.

Oh you would? Great, but Urban Meyer probably isnt going to. They have a two time B1G MVP, a returning 1st Team All-Big Ten/5th place heisman record-setter, both of whom are better Meyer offense guys.

Very slow with his reads, but all things considered he was a hero and made all the big time throws

Possibly, but teams on ROI on QBs now because a coaches fate is so tightly tied to the young QBs....unless they truly give him the Rodger/Palmer/Rivers treatment and have an established vet in front of him there will always be pressure to play him, especially with the hype machine surrounding him now

                          No way!!

Wouldn't touch this kid with a 10 foot pole. What is between his ears is going to be magnified in the NFL when big dollars are thrown at him. I will not question his physical abilities. They are off the charts. But he scares me big time. I see a potential of anywhere from a Ryan Leaf to JeMarcus Russell.

He has a problem with education. That is a problem for an NFL QB.

For the first time ever, I hope my annual alumni football ticket is the first home game of the season. Seeing "2014" added to the national championship ring in the Shoe will be something special.
