This team is one player away from winning it all!!!

Watching the playoffs yesterday, and seeing how well the Steelers came together towards the end of this past season, then factoring in the undeniable fact that a true difference maker in Le'Veon Bell was not available for this team in their playoff game,. I believe this team is actually one great defensive player away from running the tables and winning number 7.

That one great defensive player is out there somewhere too. Free agent signing or through the draft. But he is out there somewhere. The iron is so hot right now. This organization should make some kind of bold move to make this a reality. What ever the cost, the reward will make it worth it.

I feel we are only 1 shutdown Corner away.

Mitchell is going to improve and I do like Will Allen for now.

Jones, Shazier, Tuitt will all improve and if we can motivate WORILDS with a long term deal we are going to be fine up front.

Cortez Allen, William Gay, McCain, and Blake are solid if we get that 1 shutdown CB. ALL IN ON A CORNER and lets go STEELERS!

Offense is fine but we need that replacement TE now vice later! Its never bad having 2 pass catching TE's in a Todd Haley type offense!

That is part of my point. At least in the AFC. Peyton Manning is done and now Denver will take a step back. New England is beatable. This team beat the Colts handily this year. This team also beat Baltimore once, and whooped up on Cincinnati.

The Steelers were 5-1 against playoff teams...with additional victories over Atlanta, Kansas City and Houston who were in the hunt until week 17...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I'm not arguing this but I dont necessarily think it has to be in the secondary. Another "freak" LB or someone inside (NT), paired with Heyward and Tuitt, could help the entire defense.

I AM NOT SUGGESTING TO TRADE THE ENTIRE DRAFT OF THE STEELERS TO GET SOMEONE LIKE THIS, BUT!!!

To show what I mean about the inside guy, what would this 3-someone front do for the secondary? The LB's? The entire defense?

              Heyward--Leonard Williams--Tuitt

Also, yes I know Leonard Williams would be better suited outside but I know he can play NT and excel there.

AGAIN!! I AM NOT SUGGESTING TO TRADE THE ENTIRE DRAFT OF THE STEELERS TO GET SOMEONE LIKE WILLIAMS. IT WOULD BE RIDICULOUS TO DO SO. BUT!!! IF THEY GOT SOMEONE FROM SOMEWHERE WHO IS A BEAST ON DEFENSE....JUST SAYIN'.

We just need to retool our entire secondary and somehow find a pass rush. But other than that, our defense is golden.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

We are definitely close... I think the D is young and guys like Tuitt, Shazier and even Cortez Allen will help this D improve next year.

Well it will also depend on who our DC will be and what type of D we will be running.

SHUTDOWN CORNER or a very good pass rusher will cost just about the same dee dub is right either could help the other basically.

What's great about this off season is our ability to just concentrate on 1 side of the ball for a change. NICE PROBLEM TO HAVE.

I think some of the current players are going to improve to the point that we won't need all that help. A beast pass rusher or CB would be great though.

We need a pass rushing specialist and that's it.

Honestly, I think we have the players on D we just need to simplify the scheme.

I dont know about 'weird" but I'd agree it isnt his strength but USC used him all over the front and bounced around enough from 4-4 to 3-4 that showed he could play the NT in a 3-4. If there was anyone who could hold the two gap as well as get a above average pass rush from the NT in a 3-4 it would be Williams. And with him there Heyward or Tuitt would never see a double the rest of their career.
