Got to figure we'll also pick up a "Compensatory Pick" or two on day three since we lost more then we signed starting with Sanders. Those picks the league puts out in March. An extra pick or two even late picks gives us a few more shots at putting a deep run playoff team on the field in 15.Comment

He is astronomically wrong I think, Waynes might be pushing the high 4.2s and was great last season and played well the previous year despite not being as refined as DennardComment

Louisville Pro Day
Early results from the Louisville pro day have not been kind to safety Gerod Holliman. Though not official, I'm told his 40s have both been over 4.6 seconds, and several teams timed him at 4.65 on his second attempt. I'm told his vertical jump was not very good either.

All pretty rough for Holliman...if he drops, I'd take him in the third or fourth now..to be honest.2022 NFL Mock Draft

Gerod Holiman, Louisville - Just say no. Soft at POA, bad angles, bad tackler, can't cover. Let someone else treat him as a project.

In this article on MMQB.com, we were listed as one of three teams showing the most interest in Holliman (surely to the chagrin of many):

As for Holliman, he’s trying to prove that his gaudy INT total is a better indicator of his talent than his shaky pro day showing (4.61 40-yard dash). He says he was experiencing hamstring soreness but wanted to run after not running at the combine. He has also been criticized for lackluster tackling and poor angles, a topic of conversation with every team he has interviewed with (the Steelers, Jets and Jaguars have shown the most interest early).Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu's Injury Worse Than Advertised
Updated April 22, 2015
By Charlie Campbell - @draftcampbell
A few months ago, Oregon cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu was in the running to be the top-ranked corner, but then he suffered a knee injury during bowl practice before Oregon's game against Florida State. It was said to be a torn ACL, but team sources I've spoken to say the knee injury was much worse and was along the lines of Marcus Lattimore or Willis McGahee's rather than a simple ACL tear like the one suffered by Georgia running back Todd Gurley or Texas A&M offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi.
Sources say that Ekpre-Olomu tore more than an ACL and there was a variety of damage done to his knee. At one point, there were some teams' medical staffs that were wondering if lingering effects of the injury would force Ekpre-Olomu to retire before every playing again, like Lattimore. However, recent checks have been more positive and teams feel that Ekpre-Olomu has a shot at playing again.
The injury is significant enough, however, that some teams are putting Ekpre-Olomu in their undrafted prospect group. A contact from one team thinks that Ekpre-Olomu could have a shot at going on day three of the draft like Lattimore did, but their team doesn't have a round grade on Ekpre-Olomu because of the medical report. They have Ekpre-Olomu as an undrafted free agent as well.

Both have elite athletic ability for their positions, but who is less risky?
In my opinion Ray is the less risky player and plays the less risky position in translating to the pros. And really he had better college production to back it upComment

Just remember the name Byron Jones.
During ESPN's Draft Special last night guess who Kiper and McShay drafted for the Steelers...Byron Jones
IMO Jones will be better than Waynes long term"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"Comment

Yep, just an opinion. Waynes to me is too skinny. Obviously Jones is not just my opinion.
