Shawn mentions Striker, but he announced he is staying in school. However, given the track record we have long-term with OLB's and non-1st round or UDFAs (Harrison, Lloyd, Porter, Woodley, etc.), I would not discount the future of Howard Jones hiding on our PS. He has size (with room to grow), athleticism, and seemingly a nose the ball (I don't care if you're playing against 1st teamers or the scrubs, ability to find the ball/seize opportunities is a skill, and his preseason "ball awareness" stood out). That said, I do think we need another 2nd-3rd round OLB, especially if Worilds leaves (I think Deebo will play one more year).

not necessarily, Waynes didn't play that well yesterday versus Baylor and his stock may be dropping:

        Michigan State 42, Baylor 41

Michigan State junior cornerback Trae Waynes could be the top cornerback in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Waynes was beat on a quick slant for a touchdown in the second quarter, but Goodley dropped the pass. On the next play, Goodley caught a pass just short of the end zone. He had slight separation on Waynes. Waynes left the game briefly with an injury.

After halftime, Waynes allowed a reception of about 50 yards after Cannon got a step on him running deep along the sideline. In the fourth quarter, Waynes had an easy interception go right through his hands. If he had held on, there was nobody in front of him and it would have been a pick-six. This game won't help Waynes' draft grade as he allowed some receptions and let an easy interception go through his hands.

Maybe he'll be available at #32!
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Has Cam Sutton made a decision if he is turning pro? I see a lot of Tennessee games and he is a nice player

Down the road that Derek Barnett guy could be a really good player as well

Arrow pointing up on UTs talent level

              yup...

              Eric Striker, OLB, Oklahoma

              Height: 6-0. Weight: 221.
              Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
              Projected Round (2015): 3-4.

Eric Striker initially planned on declaring, but changed his mind. He's making a good decision, as he's just a fringe second-day prospect.

              The Verdict: Good move

Is Bama's punter available? The guy was a difference-maker for them. Meanwhile, Brad Wing mugs around like he's an Aussie Slim Shady and punts like Slim Shady.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Holy crap I was hoping the Steelers would be able to grab him in the 6th or 7th this year. I just assumed he was a senior by the way he was killing it last night.

JK Scott is s 6-foot-4 baby-faced freshman from Denver, Colorado who has averaged 47 yards per punt on 48 attempts this season and has pinned 26 of those down inside the 20....

The Steelers should take a hard look at drafting the punter from Alabama. Dude was a freaking beast last night.

He is a solid route runner with solid hands and good speed. His blocking needs work but he has potential in that area. He blocks too upright at times and can get pushed around when he does. With a little bit of good coaching from Munchak he could be the real deal. I like the guy, and would consider him a good 3rd round value.
Appreciate the input. You officially now are the OSU guru so keep kicking some updates our way. Heck of a game last night. Lots of pro talent there.

Asking Heyward to control the B and C is a waste of his talent. LeBeau seen this and adjusted. It's the reason why Heyward is having a big year. They are allowing their DL to penetrate with 1 gap responsibilities. That's what the Texans do.

that was the point. they changed it up this year and heyward hasnt looked better, like you said

Thanks, I appreciate you saying that. It was a great game…I think the Buckeyes even shocked OSU fans. Living down in SEC country, I heard the Big Ten is soft and slow talk all season at work. Man, did the Big Ten show up in the Bowls.
