Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

But with a lot more scratch in his pocket. I wonder if the Bears will cut bait at some point in the next couple years?

I don't know how soon it is feasible at this point. It would wreck their cap if they cut him by next year, I would think. Also, they would hate to admit how bad they F'd up if they cut him so soon. I don't know that they could save face if they cut him that soon.

True, from a #5. But, being he was a high first round pick (not ours) and a veteran, I'd like to see more production out of him. Not a ton, just a few catches a game. However, Bryant has seemed to take the role of the deep threat, so I guess that's why we don't see more out of H-B.

Ben needs to feed Antonio and Martavis and Markus and Heath and Le'Veon. Considering that Lance Moore is also ahead of DHB as well, I don't know where these "few catches a game" are going to come from.

Over the past few weeks, when we go 3 wide, we have keeping Antonio Brown in and rotating in either Markus Wheaton and Lance Moore or Martavis Bryant and Darrius Heyward-Bey. However, it seems that Bryant and Wheaton have now established themselves to the point that 3 wide sets should pretty much always be Brown, Bryant, and Wheaton unless one of those guys needs a breather.

To a non-Xs and Os guy, the frustration is getting all these guys in the "rotation". Stick with the top three, allow them to hone their game and let the others sit until injury hits. Roethlisberger's attempts to get everyone looks isn't the way to tune an offense. Maybe that is what Cowher's "finesse" comment was referring to ?

I like your idea NorthCoast. Go into the games with best group you have and if you get up on an opponent or God forbid and injury happens or someone needs a rest, then allow for change.
