All this moaning about losing to bad teams?
On the one hand we ALL want to never lose, true.
But we have beaten (some splits) the best teams on our schedule too.
Given the same record, I'd like a team that has proven ability to beat the best teams we play over one that beats all the scrubs and wilts when the spotlight is on. Like the Natti does.
Say we wind up 10-6, do you want those loses to be the scrubs or the best teams?
A team that beats good teams shouldn't lose to garbage teams. Again, this wouldn't be an issue (everyone loses, even occasionally to garbage teams). But we seem to lose so often to those teams... fans would just like to know why.I wasn't hired for my disposition.Comment

The point is that the two sides shouldn't be exclusive.

Seems like everyone has an opinion on why we are not a consistent team. Fact is we are not consistent and we have to live with it. However if lack of experience has anything to do with the inconsistency then one has at least got to believe as we move into the final 3rd of the year it should get better.Comment

That's interesting, at the beginning of the year each team has a 39% chance of making the playoffs and after one week, one half of the NFL is down to 25% by being 0-1. It also gives you an indication how important a good start is to a successful year which the Steelers haven't been good at recently. The Jets game cost them 12%.

They are a frustrating team...not great, not bad but have moments of each. They are right in the thick of it though, the offense couldn't get it done last week, but damn Richardson and Wilkerson were everything they have been billed up to beComment
