I have to agree with the Captain ... some of you just see what you want to see.

We have been blitzing the entire year. It's just that earlier in the season nobody was beating their man so we never got any pressure on the QB. What did you want DL to do? Keep sending people even though it wasn't working? It was only with Harrison coming back and playing into shape that we started to get some consistent pressure. When it's working you call it more often ... I think that makes sense.

As for the Jets game it wasn't the passing that hurt us as much as their run game. They ran all over us the 1st quarter and most of the 2nd quarter. We gave up 1 big pass play and if you look at that play Gay had good coverage but it was a perfect pass and the guy made a good catch with Gay's arm swatting at the ball.

Some of you guys have to face the fact that this isn't a good defense. It's pretty much average which means it will have some good games and some not so good games. For us to win the offense has to score ... early and often. That's just the fact of the matter.
