So we all saw the replay. The announcers both stated emphatically that it was a fumble and then Mike Carey, the rules expert, said it was CLEARLY a fumble. What in the F were the game day officials looking at under the hood? You might as well not even have replay if plays like that occur and the rules are ignored. That's not just a bad call. That's a failure of the system and officials being incompetent at a crucial point in the game.

I don't disagree with you guys at all. But I am not the type of fan to say the refs lost us the game. Play better so BAD calls don't kill you. Also the after game show with Pompeani, He said he has no idea how the official booth did not over turn that. Which I agree with. But again if the Steelers were playing like the last 2 games it would be a moot point or just a BAD call in a blow out game.
Everyone focussed on his left leg, but what about his right knee? Was it clearly off the ground when the ball was out? It hit before the left shin, which is what the announcers were watching.

I, in no way, indicated the refs lost us the game. I've never once blamed the stripes for any loss, ever. Heck, with the way the O looked yesterday I'm not sure they would have even gotten three after that turnover. But Vick fumbled the ball when his knee was not down, the ball stayed in bounds (not really even close), the Steelers recovered. There's noting to dispute and they still got it wrong with all of that on tape. I find it mind-boggling that a professional ref in the NFL watched multiple angles of that play and somehow came to the conclusion it was not a fumble. That's a person who has failed at their job. It's a disgraceful piece of officiating.

No one. But to cry about a bad call always is worse after a loss. Everyone here says it was the wrong call. But did the NFL back there ref or say he dropped the ball? There was a call in one of the last few Steeler games that the NFL did say was the right call and backed there ref. Oh it was the AB TD that he cussed on twitter about. Plus there are always bad calls in every game. Some just hurt more then others sometimes it helps us. These refs are human and make mistakes. Also I agree that it was a bad call from what I seen on tv. But Ghost's first post sounded like it cost us the game. Not even close.

so we can't talk about a bad call 24 hours after the game?
All Ghost did was highlight that a bad call was made and he can't understand how given the replay, talking heads AND ref in NYC all seeing a fumble.
