Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

Attack! Attack! Attack! Every play on defense go after Vick and pound him. If Geno Smith comes in do the same thing. On offense, plan to go into this game throwing the ball. The Jets front 7 is pretty good and I doubt we have success running the ball so don't waste possessions using the run to set up the pass. Just throw to set up the run. I would also dust off the no huddle to exploit a weak secondary and wear down the Jets front 7.
with all of that. Especially the green part.
How many sacks you guys think Harrison will have!?
We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!
HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!Comment

As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

Considering what our offense has done the past 2 weeks, I would have to think that Rex is gonna do everything in his power to get to Ben. They can't cover our WR's. I think they will sell out to pass rush a lot on Sunday. We'll see a big dose of stunts and blitzes. With them looking to penetrate quickly, traps, draws, screens and quick slants might be big early. Get the front 7 slowed down a little then go for the throat.
We're gonna have to stop the run early. They run block pretty well and have 2 good backs. If the Jets have enough success running to work in some play action, they could hang around. Their focus is gonna be ball control, possession time, rush the passer.Comment

If there's one thing Rex knows, its his D. They're going to come after Ben big time. They will aim to keep him unsettled so that he cannot find time to take advantage of their weak secondary. The Oline is going to be very key to this matchup. Its Munchak vs. Ryan.Considering what our offense has done the past 2 weeks, I would have to think that Rex is gonna do everything in his power to get to Ben. They can't cover our WR's. Jets are well-grounded
The Jets’ No. 3 rushing offense will face a Steelers defense that is ranked 25th in the NFL in yards allowed per run. It’s one way the underdogs could pull off the upset on Sunday.
“They have three really good running backs,” nose tackle Steve McLendon said.
Those would be Chris Ivory (497 yards, 4.6 average), Chris Johnson (337, 4.3) and Bilal Powell (98, 4.7).
“You have a good offensive line with good running backs and on top of that you have quarterbacks who can run,” McLendon said.
Michael Vick has run only 16 times but has 110 yards, and the Steelers have seen his act in the past, often to their detriment.
“Michael Vick is still Michael Vick,” McLendon said. “He still can run, he’s very quick, he’s very fast.”
