Four guys who had good camps and flashed in pre season were Tuitt,McCullers,Thomas and Shazier. Now these guys are not there yet but if they can contribute and continue to improve we could have a very solid second half of the season. If JJ gets back that will help a bit too as Moats is a nice player but he is not special.
JJ nothing special yet either. He may be one day, but isn't yet.

Certainly, beat down fan bases (Browns) don't overreact as much has us after a loss, but after a Browns' win, you will see their fans talking Super Bowl. It is crazy how easily they become overly optimistic. A few years ago, after some free agent signings, their fans were saying they had their new Mack, Byner, Slaughter, Kosar, etc. and they were 3-13 again.
Overreact? How can they? When they say "fire (insert Browns' coach)" it usually happens lol.

Oh, I SURELY have hope that we'll win this game. And the next. And the next. Etc.

But I'm realistic. My hopes end with a playoff berth. Anything else is GRAVY.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

you never sound pleasant after a win....lol.

There are a few posters who are ecstatic after losses but after a win it's obvious they aren't happy.

With a win, they position themselves for a division title. If not, they're essentially 3 back of the Ravens with 7 to play, so they're in the wild card hunt.

                  Biggest game in years.

Until this defense gets fixed, though, I hold out no hope for any kind of playoff run, but it would be nice for some of the youngsters to get a taste of postseason football.

Yeah, but they do so with genitalia painted on their faces...gotta love those Browns' fans...
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

The final five games are against the Bengals, Falcons (away), Saints, and Chiefs. The home stretch is against very tough opposition. They need to play at a sustained high level for the rest of the season to get to the playoffs. Its reminiscent of the playoff run in 1994-1995, after a 3-4 start.
