Right on guys. You never stop teaching technique.

Ball skills are a totally different animal than coverage. Especially if you lack confidence. Young CBs get so focused on following their guy that they don't dare to take their eyes off him to find the ball.

But most times it looks like Allen is looking back he just isn't putting his hands up.

I've just seen too many balls caught with him in good position.
Mentally you can turn but the connection between the eyes and the hands are off. Kinda like IKE trying to catch a football. It's MENTAL.

I have seen him play well before...i still have faith too. Always had trouble with his inside technique.

So you are applauding Munchak teaching technique to his o-linemen, but say that Cortez Allen shouldn't need any technique training at this point because he's a 4th year player? Aren't DeCastro, Adams, Gilbert, Beachum, and Pouncey all between their 3rd and 5th year?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

If Cortez is reading this, allow me to teach you something that four years hasn't. When a receivers body motion changes, when he turns his head, when his hips stay in one position, the ball is on it's way. Also, look up, look back and raise your arms. It's not, look at the pretty ball..

Sorry, high character is all good, if it comes with a player who doesn't stink on the field. I will take a pot smoking Bell and Blount over a Charlie Church who gets burnt like toast any day.

I want both in a player but you can't always have it. I try not to judge and I remind myself, people make mistakes and especially young people. Every once in a while I'll see someone or hear about someone not being as good as they should and sometimes I remember, " oh, I was that stupid and inconsiderate too at that age. "

Lol, what? What does high moral character have to do ball skills? We don't need defenders who cant defend on this team, I don't care how nice they are.

Only a plus if its adding to the production, if there is no production then its all he has and does us no good on the field. Besides I would take anything a pastor says with a grain of salt.

Whereas if we had a guy who was suspended or arrested, the Steelers would be stupid for giving that guy a contract...

is this a football site or a dating site?

Yes, and they weren't getting any technique until this year. If the same is happening with Allen you have to wonder where the staff's heads are at.
