If you can't see the difference in how younger players got the field EARLIER for everyone NOT named LeBeau? I can't help you.

If Tomlin didn't interfere? Heyward would have sat all last season.

In 6 games (24 quarters) we've seen a total of two quarters of quality football. That is it. And you are fine with that. The other 22 quarters have been painful, like sitting in the dentist's chair. I am done spending one more cent of anything Steeler football, period. I hope millions of other fans do the same.

Besides that its been mistake filled football IMO.

The problem is we RARELY get to see quality football and you know it. Not sure why you are upset at beople being upset that we can't see 60 minutes of good football.
One of us is upset, but it's not me. I don't mind people being upset about the Steelers. I do mind misdirected hostility. I don't work for the Steelers. I don't coach them, don't play for them, don't work in the front office. If you're upset about the Steelers, I don't blame you. But, nobody needs to be an @$$hole and take their frustrations out on a fellow fan. That's just flat out stupid and doesn't make anyone feel any better.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

If Haley stays beyond this season? I'm done traveling to games.

I can sit at home and watch his garbage in HD and not have to deal with airports, etc.

This team has been on a slide for a long time. Our last playoff game was a team that shouldn't have been there or at least a blessing we lost so we would have not gotten bitch slapped the following week. Tim Tebow beat the Steelers and that is sad news. Personally I put that loss on Lebeau for assuming Tebow didn't have arms but still the same, this is a dysfunctional team. Do whatever you want to the Steelers and it will work. If your team lacks in one area, play the Steelers we are the remedy.

The reason people are directing their anger towards you is because when they voice their frustration you tend to give a snarky response that makes the poster look like they are stupid for pointing out negatives.

I know you are a glass is half filled type of guy but I think you need to let people vent after a loss.

You are right. Ghost pointed out something similar and I think I've adjusted the way I post, especially after Sunday's debacle. But, I've never stopped anyone from venting or tried to silence anyone's opinion. Nor have I portrayed myself as superior to anyone else. I did misjudge the displaced frustration of certain posters.

The last sentence is my biggest frustration...

I also knew the day Tebow was drafted he would beat us if we ever played him.

I remember someone asking if Tebow could drive on us like he did on some other team a few weeks prior and everyone said it couldn't happen.

I feel like this about ALL pittsburgh sports teams... its rare to see us beat down a bad team. Its in the water...

Ever since the Pirates started winning the Steelers have been losing.

Its all good... the board needs guys like you to balance out all the doomers.

You are alright with me even though we disagree from time to time. I need 3 or 4 days of venting and then I'm all in.

Hell, I predicted a second half comeback in chat.

Thank you. And I noticed the prediction. "We will win this game." I was with you.

Did Darren Perry, the free safety who calls the defense "know the system" when he started for Capers as a rookie?

Did Kendrell Bell "know the system" when he was a starting for Tim Lewis as a rookie?

This whole "excuse" of the system being too hard only came to fruition when Dick LeBeau was the DC.

Because that's his mindset, he's admitted he doesn't like to play rookies, so the alleged complexity of the system is his crutch.

Wasn't a problem for Capers, Haslett, and Lewis though.
i wish it was a problem for capers when he went to green bay

we probably win that SB with matthews on the bench
