I don't see the Browns over looking us at all. They are probably still kicking themselves over the opener loss and they are a team with a lot of want in them for winning. This is must win in their eyes and a statement game for them. Their coaches will be schooling, planning and burning the midnight oil in preparation. They are hungry and aggressive. Steelers are team stuck at 500 and the Browns are a team on the rise. Not that they are in the category of the Broncos or a powerhouse team but the Steelers sure are not a team on the rise.

There's no way to predict this week' outcome. I can see everything from a steelers blowout to a browns blowout to a hard fought low scoring game. While I desire the victory - what I'm hoping to see is sound, smart disciplined football, and if we lose it's because we were outplayed and not self-inflicted.

Course, I've been thinking the Browns would get over the hump on us for YEARS (since those Kelly Holcomb days), and it hasn't really happened yet.

Though I do think he would rather the steelers lose so he could say I told you so than see them win, even if it's ugly

I predict, win or lose, multiple posters will call for multiple members of our coaching staff to be fired. I win.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

The media here is absolutely giddy over the game and the CLE-TEN has made them believe again. This IS the Browns Superbowl, but it really seems regardless of the outcome the players are beginning to believe in their HC. This is the first step in building a successful football team and they are truly only a good QB away from being back in discussion about contending. (and they may not even be that far off considering Baltimore won a SB with Trent freaking Dilfer.)

Their quarterback is better than Dilfer but their defense isn't near Baltimores at the time but that said, there is some tradeoff. Gilbert was asked earlier this year whom he thought the team to beat was in the North and he picked Cleveland. Only after saying that they gave him fits making a buggy boy out of him our first meeting with the Browns this season. I have to say I am losing faith in our coaching staff. Our ability to adjust or go off script seems to be a problem with the coaches

I do not care what the score is as long as the Steelers come out with a WIN.
This is the Browns Super Bowl--make no mistake about it.

Gilbert has been much better since the ravens game. He's gotta play well against Kruger

I wouldn't be surprised. The Browns usually bring the best out of the Steelers.

And if people don't think the Steelers haven't marked this game down after blowing a lead that sent the city in turmoil- think again.

There are a number of problems killing this offense. Penalties. Taking sacks when it could be avoided. Overthrows or drops on wide open plays. Bad play calls. It's not the absolute number of these errors, but the fact that they appear at the worst possible times. I'll say that the Browns don't rush for 150+ this time. I think we'll control that better. I am still concerned about allowing too much underneath passing with YAC. Our offense is due for a better showing. Steelers by 10. 30-20.

I saw some improvements since the game with Tampa...I think we win but, I won't hold my breath....

I think Hoyer is the real deal.
He isn't a Hofer but I think he is a quality QB and fits the Browns.
They were pretty good up until his injury last year.
