I think the defense made up their mind to stop Bell.. Why else would Ben have 300 yards, three td's, Heath Miller making great stats and AB too. Bell was knocking but no doors open.

It wasn't an unpopular comment Steelblood. People forget this is a discussion board. Everyone is entitled their opinion without being crucified. Doesn't always happen but I can suggest it.

I agree. Why is it that they hear his words but don't see the cheap shot they put on him.

That last play call is the one sticking in your head, and it was a very bad designed run for that situation
Yeah, as I said, I like the kid. And, you could very well be correct. But, it was not just the last play. There were other plays where he passed up seams to try to create more. The Bucs watched the Carolina tape. They were fully prepared. You can't dance on just about every run. Hopefully, he varies his game more as he matures.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

we will need Mic replays to make sure the refs aren't mishearing.

Now, I like Bell. I think he does many things very well. But, he needs to take the open 4-5 yard run more often. He is NOT Barry Sanders.
actually no, bell should be the back in that spot, defense is playing the run in a situation that is not short yardage, you want a back in their who makes people miss. Bell is one of the top backs in the league not having him in the game in that spot would be absurd.

Matures into what? a mediocre back that smashes into the back of his o-line? I didn't see him miss any big holes that where easy 4-5yd gains.

I kind of agree.... Blount should have been closing this one out...
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

absolutely not, you don't put a straight ahead run type guy in there against a stacked box, especially a guy like blount who has had fumbling issues throughout his career. You put in your best back, one of the top backs in the league, and one of your safest ball carriers. This wasn't garbage time that we were trying to run off the clock, best players on the field in crucial situations, that's how it should be.
