Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! The attacking defense we saw Sunday night is suppose to be what this defense was designed to do. Why would we ever get away from it?

Because the players weren't running it. The young D, now with more Shazier and with Keisel and Harrison getting up to speed, LeBeau has options. I can't wait for Jarvis to come back.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

When will Jones finally get back on the field?

I believe Jarvis Jones is eligible to return in a couple of weeks...

I believe he can start practicing after week 10. We then have 3 weeks with him as a roster exemption before deciding to activate him or ending his season on actual I.R. So if he's ready, I guess game 11 would be the earliest we could possibly see him.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Tomlin said stats didn't show it, but OLB Jason Worilds won his matchups "a lot" vs Colts. He added James Harrison "getting up to speed."

I came to PA for the game, and before the game I told my son that Worilds has to have a good game. I have not been a fan of his, so I am as tough on him as anybody. However, there were so many times that I turned to my son after a play and just said "Worilds again". He played well.

Another player who I was happy to see was Shazier. Many of his tackles were five yard gains, so it may have gone unnoticed. What I did see though was that a few times it was in a wide open field on a middle screen type play to Bradshaw. Bradshaw is a quick little guy, and is not an easy assignment in the open field. Shazier look good a couple of times bringing him down. Those are the types of plays that can easily turn into 30 yarders if not stopped at the point.

Did you get the PM I sent after the game? I tried stopping by 512 at halftime, went to the front row, but the only guy sitting next to a boy in his early teenage years was not you. Oh well.

John B.: Do you think Worilds will be here next year if he's not asking top dollar?

Ed Bouchette: They won't be making him their franchise or transition player, I know that.
