Character can be a bitch...but deshea has had a run in with the law lately fwiw lol

Again, this goes into looking into the person (something we dont get to do) Pacman was an unbelievable prospect as a player though, he was just a hard core thug.

Would you rather have the weed smoking Janoris Jenkins at 39 or the uber bust Claiborne at 6? how about undersized coke blowing Mathieu in the 3rd? Pacman was a rare instance i think, and even he cleaned himself up and made a decent career for himself

What I am saying is I like guys like Townsend. When he played for the Steelers he played with his head and heart. He was not physically gifted at least in comparison to his peers.

Claiborne played at LSU and they ran a 4-3...

Him and Patrick peterson were both dumb as bricks though.

And not that a back end of the defense has much to do with a 34 or a 43, but claiborne did not play in alabamas 34, he played in LSUs 43.
I worked for a joint that heavily used the Wonderlic and any single digit score is basically someone so dumb, that it's amazing they can even survive, and probably wouldn't if it was a few hundred years ago. Even most who scored in the teens were dull as a butter knife. i believe scoring a 4 indicates that you simply can't read. You could just guess and score better than a 4.

No, no, no, no, no. Champ has been a bum and hurt all the time for years. No reason that won't remain the case. Forgitaboutit.

Interesting pick. I wonder what you are basing that on because it's obviously not production. Townsend had 449 tackles, 15.5 sacks, and 21 career INTs. Pac Man Jones has had 248 tackles, 2 sacks, and 8 INTs. If you want to compare year to year, apples to apples Townsend had 390 tackles, 15.5 sacks and 18 INTs.

Isn't Claiborne's calling card (at least in college) man-coverage? I do recall him being considered miscast in Monte Kiffin's Cover-2 scheme. I would imagine he'd be playing more zone than man with us, which wouldn't serve him well.

This guy is probably looking for a place (e.g. Jets) where he will be asked to play man-coverage all the time. Not to say he is all that here in the pros... just talking what would suit him.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Claiborne is not looking for another team to play for, he belongs to the Cowboys and with the investment they have made in him they aren't about to let him go.
