That hit was straight nasty, this is what the steelers are missing...maybe next year
Ben: I am as sore now as I ever was all of last year

Rats got flagged. Don't know about the fine. But I'm sure that even with a fine+flag, the Rats would feel like the brutal hit was well worth it. They won the game and put the opposing QB in pain. What's not to like?
If we still had James Harrison - a guy who could actually get to and hit the QB - and he tagged Flaccid like that, I think we'd all be quite satisfied with it, regardless if it drew a flag and a fine.Comment

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

The Ravens got flagged, too. I didn't see what was illegal about the hit, personally, other than it was hard and viscous, but that shouldn't make it illegal in itself. It wasn't late, it wasn't to the head, it wasn't with the crown of the helmet, it wasn't low, it wasn't a horse collar...it was to the middle of the chest and not late. Why was a flag thrown?Comment
