Ben: I am as sore now as I ever was all of last year

    Source: ESPN.com - Scott Brown

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger said he is still very sore after taking a hit in the chest in the team's Week 2 game from Baltimore Ravens LB Courtney Upshaw. 'I'm hurting today as much as I was at any point I can think of in the last year,' Roethlisberger said.
That could very well explain his poor game. That hit was brutal, although I thought legal.

It means he played two divisional games in the space of five days...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

No, it was the hit. He said it was comparible to the hit he took from bart scott a few years ago and it was still very painful 5 days later....10 days off is probably for the best

Ben had a much tougher time...he couldn't play against our defense...

For Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount's sake, I hope not.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

It helps when you don't get touched except for QB sneaks.

That was a like getting an extra bye week for Flacco. He can't wait for the Nov 2 re-match and his third week off of the season.

It was that specific hit that made him sore. His ribs and sternum are probably killing him. It really sucks to have bruised ribs. No matter what one thinks about Ben, no one can dispute that he is one tough SOB. But I don't like his chances in this upcoming game. He might not make it through the whole game. Panthers are what we used to be, a while ago. Now we are the LaBeue Review, or, like many like to call us "The Lawrence Welk of defenses."

Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount took more hits than Flacco.

Not as sore as he's gonna be if Gilby keeps giving up a couple of sacks every game.

Yeah, exactly what ran through my mind reading this yesterday.
