Beyond the accusations, I think some fans are still steaming from past comments:

Pouncey responded to several of the fans with some comments that aren’t suitable for publication.
He told one fan, “Season is over, time to move on and get better! What do you do for a living besides bother me?”
Pouncey told another fan, “Dude, you have six followers! No one cares what you have to say!! Can you see that!”
He also said, “Why would I be mad? I’m rich..play for the Steelers and have an awesome life!! Are you mad loser?”
Pouncey’s last tweet of the night said, “I’m done talking to losers!”

Then again, maybe it is just the way Pouncey is wired:

However, after having interviewed Pouncey and conducting other background checks, personnel men for six teams all said Pouncey's (Wunderlic) score of 14 wasn't a concern.

Pouncey scored one of the all-time lows for a center on the well-known test.

I could think of a dozen accusations that we've had in the past that are a much bigger deal than tweets, hats, and possible bar fights.
          -Getting shot in denver
-getting busted for weed a few months after being super bowl mvp
          -deebo in a dv case
          -sexual assault

I could go on but won't. I think you get my point.

Seems funny how those same folks that slam him sing Ben's praises. I love both of them. Glad they're both on my team. Think they're two of the best at their positions in the entire league. Both guys put themselves in situations they shouldn't have been in. But if a hat was the last straw for someone then my response is: stfu you sound like an idiot.

can you provide us with a list of all the fans that he say approved of bens actions that are now disapproving of pouncey's?

Does anyone truly believe the new Hall of Fame O-linemen Coach didn't have a say on the long term signing of Pouncey as the Steelers center of the future? There's no way he gets the big deal without Munchak agreeing that he's the guy he wants to anchor the line for the foreseeable future. Are people watching on TV actually saying they are better talent evaluators?

Velasco coming off the street did an admirable job last season and it's a real shame he blew out his Achilles. But there's not a single guy who gets paid to evaluate NFL level players that would say he is a better talent than Pouncey. This is a case of the 2nd string QB being the most popular guy on the team right up until he has to play for an extended time.

no but i can give you a long list of people who have dropped it. People are still bringing up Pouncey's tweet from 4 years ago... which was the same year as ben's SECOND sexual assault allegation.

Remember, the reason that Velasco was available last year was because Mike Munchak cut him when he had to get his Titans roster down to 53. And that was a Velasco without a torn Achilles.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Velasco is a good player, I'd love to see him competing at Guard. But y'all are crazy if you think he's in the same ball park as Pouncey.
