Nah sounds like some overpaid, overrated and immature blowhard. Look at his past! Those transgressions! Wearing a hat! Sending an offensive TWEET (without bad words even!!!)!!! and going to a bar!!!! He's obviously guilty and we CANNOT ALLOW this kind of behavior to go on!!!! He's a china doll anyway!!! Not only did he miss 3 of his first 48 games as a pro but he missed all of last season!!! I don't care that he took a blind side, knee level hit to the knee from behind while he was engaged with a defensive tackle!!! He's GLASS!

being accused of something doesn't mean squat, anyone can accuse someone else of doing something. Ben was never found guilty of committing any crime.
I understand you want to defend Pouncey but you don't need to unjustifiably drag Ben down in the mud in order to do so...Comment

I'm not dragging anyone down. Just pointing out the hypocrisy of some folks on the board. Guy wears a hat, sends a tweet and is accused of a bar fight and gets slammed. Seems funny how those same folks that slam him sing Ben's praises. I love both of them. Glad they're both on my team. Think they're two of the best at their positions in the entire league. Both guys put themselves in situations they shouldn't have been in. But if a hat was the last straw for someone then my response is: stfu you sound like an idiot.

And at this point Pouncey has only been accused of a crime. There was much nonsense surrounding Ben as well...many reports of him acting like a diva, not treating people (including his teammates) well. And this post isn't directed at you (because I understand the point you are trying to make). But, this is about consistency and what fans are willing to tolerate. Pouncey's "antics" are not palatable because of the intolerance by fans for what they deem thuggish behavior. They are more willing to accept womanizing than thuggery. I have little doubt the Pouncey twins have associated with gang members and have displayed some immature behavior. But, I do not believe the most recent accusation and they haven't been arrested for any crimes. Ben was certainly accused of much worse, and imo looking at the facts displayed horrific judgment. But, he grew up, changed...because his immaturity caught up with him and helped him grow up. I have been impressed with Ben's growth. Pouncey is no different and should be given a chance to grow up as well. IMO, he is as good as advertised as a center. He is a rock on that OL...and this team needs him there. His teammates seem to like him. So, I am willing to give a young man a little grace because I know I sure needed (still need) some grace.Trolls are people too.Comment

Agreed. I am somewhere in the middle on this. I didn't agree with Ben's behavior. I also haven't agreed with some of Pounceys judgment. I do believe Pouncey to be a great center but also a young man who has some growing up to do. With that said, I don't believe I have seen anything that makes me think he is a bad person or someone I don't want on this squad.Trolls are people too.Comment
