(Of course Rainbow-Head Dennis Rodman used to be a Spur, so, uhm, forget that last bit please!)
As much of a circus freak that Rodman was, I never minded his flamboyance because that was his personality in real life. He was just being him. And he was one of the most underrated guys in NBA history. I don't think it's a coincidence he won so many championships.

Rodman did little things to get inside guys heads to give his team an advantage to win games. I think his antics were completely different than the theatrics we sometimes see in the NFL.

Dressing up in a wedding dress?

Rodman was never underrated.. he ended up on the Bulls because we was a beast on the boards. He also won DPOY. He was a star.

Rodman celebrated after every basket he made too.. he would pump his fist or put up a #1 sign towards the crowd. Bad Boys 30 for 30 was hilarious...a simple layup would be followed by a celebration. He played hard, celebrated, dyed his hair crazy colors...

Its odd to hear you say Rodman was flamboyant in real life but you had a bunch of bad things to say about Ocho. Rodman had money struggles and just went to N.Korea to hang out and play ball. Ocho and Rodman are damn near the same guy off the field and honestly, until Ocho married that crazy woman he was NEVER in trouble.

And the worst of the worst is the "Ball Drop" for some no biggie catch he is being paid to make (or the Tones Bicep Push, etc) ... when we are getting hammered in a game! Yes, that is a Me-Too (or really, a Me-Only) attitude that I would like to not see in players wearing the Black and Gold.

Yes, please be more like Heath.

Or Troy. Or Timmons. Or Casey. Etc. (For the sensitive ones).

LOL... Ginobli and Duncan have signature moves. Ginobli flops like a fish and Duncan acts like any foul called against him is a shot in the heart..lol.

I dont think anyone in the NBA has a signature celebration move... but they always pump the crowd up or fist pump after huge shots.

Oh yeah...when Eli Manning was on, his "Big Brothers" sketch was also classic.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

My kids are 9 and 12...they still go to bed early on school nights, but on weekends, they always look forward to SNL (whenever it is a live show instead of a rerun). I watch along with them, and usually I lose one of them around the time the musical act performs their first song, and the other one nods off around Weekend Update or so, but occassionally they can make it all the way through from 11:30 to 1:00 a.m. It's certainly better than watching Monday Night Raw (which they also like, but I just can't stand wrestling).

I'm surprised your kids - or anyone - still likes SNL. It is so rare for a funny skit these days. The vast majority is just powerfully unfunny. Once in a blue moon, they will land on a funny skit (Tebow thing was funny a few years ago). But the majority of it just stinks, including the opening by the guest. That is usually just horrible.

They say this with every generation.

The Eddie Murphy years sucked because they weren't the John Belushi years.

The Mike Myers years sucked because they weren't the Eddie Murphy years.

The Adam Sandler years sucked because they weren't the Mike Myers years.

The Will Ferrell years sucked because they weren't the Adam Sandler years.

And yet, the show keeps on going, and keeps on pumping out the next generation of movie stars, talk show hosts, etc.
