The QB takes more hits with BA... but they also win more games and like the offense. Ben takes hits regardless... might as well make the playoffs and the SB while doing it.

Pap I agree to a point. Problem is that he needs to buy into the system a little more and dump those short passes off. Team are going to pin their ears back and bring pressure all day long because 1 they don't respect our run game and 2 they know ben will hold the ball to make a play.

He'll take those short passes when he's running for his life, but it's not in his DNA to take 4 yards when he can try and get 12, 15 or 20, it just isn't going to happen and no amount of coaching, owner intervention or play calling is going to change that. That's why I liked BA he used his best football player's strengths regardless of danger and the Steelers won games with bad players at many positions, most notably center.
