The offense did not do a very good job generating points with more than enough weapons, IMO.

without bens unsustainable 3rd down numbers early, this offense looks even worse.
no projecting, it was still his 2nd best output. maybe you should blame Ben for not reaching the lofty mid-30s in TDs? after all, he is the one throwing the ball....

there is room to be better at several positions. QB, WR, OL and RB. The guy who gets paid to make those parts run smoothly is todd haley. can you honestly say you think the offense played well last year?

they need to show marked improvement this season.

Eddie I understand what you are trying to say. I to wanna see more POINT production on the whole. But facts are, in Haley's first season with us, we scored 336 points, still MORE then we did in the 2011 season when we were 12-4. Only difference was our defense gave up alot less points in that 2011 season, then they did last season. So it was more the defense then the offense as it goes to last season. But, like I said, I am NOT asking for New England type numbers, or the Saints or that. Cause we all know that those 2 teams like to add more and more points/stats late in games that are already decided. The Steelers have more class and do NOT do that. But still, I would like to see us maybe go from 336 total points..( 21 a game )
        to say around 400 total points ( 25 Pts a game )

I think that would be a nice showing.

Ben threw two horrible INTs to end the season. Leftwich completed a pathetic 47% of his passes in the games he played. Sometimes it's the players not making the plays.
In general, I had little issue with Haley's playcalling. It was the players that underwhelmed in most cases.

Yes to this...on both the offense and defense.
