Veterans of "the game" will tell you that rising to the top early....is usually the peak before the valley. This past weekend the rowdy and rambunctious Chadman found himself buying drinks in the Goose Egg lounge....while slipping from 2nd place to 8th!

Angry Asian stumbled and gave up his first place lead to now sit just under the 200 club in third place.

It should be no surprise to see the always competitive Ghost, this weeks only owner of the high score of 40, leading the charts this week - of course who better to lead on Halloween Weekend? Ghost has always done well in this game - and he seems poised to make a serious run for the crown this season.

What is suprising is who is with him in the 200 club....yours truly Lonbull .....for the record I've never been in first place in my own game.....never......ever......

And unfortunately for me this week will continue my streak without seeing 1st place as Ghost and I share the AFC West showdown of the Chiefs and Chargers - so no chance of being a Ghost Buster this week.

This could however be a big week for Jooser as the Steelers v Patriots game is certainly the game of the week, and could provide the fireworks needed to push the Jooser to the top!

Incidentally - next year I will be implementing a "Blow-out Penalty"!!! I've noticed that certain games (that are blow-outs) do just as well in MNF Exec - as games that are actually interesting. The Saints 62 point romp, has got me re-thinking some of the scoring. So next year there's a possibilty you could actually LOSE points....but that's next season.

MJG - I believe we've had only four games on the docket before - it's rare, but when the "right" teams have a bye week, it can get a little desperate for choices.

Also yes - at kickoff it appears you and the Chadman will be tied.....I'm curious as to what might be said should you have a higher score this week?

This week was simply a case of the Have's vs. the Have nots (Occupy MNF EXEC!?!?!)

Former MNF Exec. Champion, and current leader Ghost lead the charge this week with the weekly high score of 70 points in the Chargers v Chiefs AFC West battle. Ghost is showing no mercy at this point as he adds on an additional 30 points at kickoff this Sunday......will Ghost be the first two time Champion?

Meanwhile those Execs who chose the Patriots v. Steelers Pass-a-thon only secured 25 points from the "record" bonus......perhaps another 15 points would have been tacked on, had Troy not batted the ball into the endzone giving the Steelers a saftey and an 8 point lead instead of a 6 point lead. However I doubt many of you are "that" mad about it considering who Troy helped us defeat.

And finally we come to the "Have nots" - which are the 8 Execs. who spent the weekend in the Goose Egg lounge from the remaining two games.

Chadman, in particular, has been a rags to riches....quickly returning back to rags storyline. In Week 6 Chadman had bolted into second place....and now a mere two weeks later he finds himself in 16th place.....and perhaps even worse his nemisis MJG is 55 points ahead and reigning in the top 5......does Chadman have it in him for a comeback???

The season is still young - so anything is possible. Incidentally I already checked and no one has the Buffalo v New England game in Week 17 - that could end up being a HUGE points maker......

Because that's the kind of good sportsmanship that is part of my very fiber of being.

Don't give up pal -- keep trying! Just because you have plummetted in the standings like the Colts without Manning - don't give up!

Just because SteelGal has again surpassed you - keep that aussie chin up!

Don't let those negative thoughts enter your head - like you are now only 25 points ahead of chavezz and how much it would suck if both he and I were ahead of you. Keep a POSITIVE outlook!
