I've debated with Crash multiple times. When he is proven wrong with facts, he goes on the attack with name calling, telling me to die, etc. He only debates until he is proven wrong, then he attacks. It's a common theme, one I have not played along with, yet he has continued to attack and break board rules, with nothing happening. I would urge the members and those that run this board to act fair and responsible in their decisions. So far, I have not seen those actions take place.

Scalaid, I give you credit for challenging the performance of a guy that a lot of Steeler fans feel is off limits. The Steelers when the Super Bowl by double digits if they switch QB with Green Bay. He missed guys the entire game against the Packers and made an absolutely horrible read when he stared down Wallace and threw into coverage for an interception instead of looking left and throwing to Miller who was wide open down field.

There is all this focus on the defense struggling in the Super Bowl, but the team is not in the Super Bowl if not for the defense. The defense won both Ravens games late in the year. Ben and the offense managed very little on offens in either game. The Steelers are not a two seed if not for the defense against Baltimore. The defense also had to basically win the Jets game because Ben only managed 120 yards passing.

Ben needs to get better in all aspects of his game. He is getting older and he can't continue to just hold the ball and wait for guys to get open. He will shorten his career (not to mention the fumbles). Roethlisberger has all the physical gifts in the world, but he has to get better in reading defenses quicker and getting rid of the ball sooner. Hopefully the Super Bowl performance will motivate him to get better in all areas.

Ben wont get better because he doesnt think he needs to. That early success was the worst thing for Ben.

There is no way that a 7 year vet should be as fundamentally inept as he is. His footwork is bad, mechanics suck and his reads are slow as Big Snack.

Problem with people like you this if Ben does not play like "manning" he sucks. Again i don't have a problem with that since its your opinion but then you have balls to come here and tell how Manning,Brady,Brees,Rivers and Rodgers are better than Ben and show box score to justify that.

Manning, Brady lost to Jets. Ben won. He was not great in that game but if anyone ever watched that game would appreciate the plays Ben made and Manning/brady failed in that regards. Watch games for a change.

Very well said. They think a QB brain is like a switch. Hold the ball on some plays and throw a quick pass on some plays. Throw the ball away on some plays and run around for some plays. Its next to impossible. No human being can do that.

As long as they keep comparing Ben to Manning/Brady they will never really enjoy Ben's play or appreciate it.
