He can run faster pass plays to negate the effect of a rush or blitz.

I agree... but it sure seems like Ben would suggest these plays as well if he felt they would help our team. People want quick passes and shorter routes... but we all know that isn't Ben's game. You have to take the bad with the good when it comes to Ben's style. Ben isn't the type to Tom Brady it down the field.

We are not other teams so it doesn't matter what they do or don't do. A FB will give Ben an additional blocker, and open holes for Mendy or whomever.

    That's what.
We had Johnson back their and the holes didn't open... it doesn't matter if we have a FB when our OL is banged up.

screaming for a FB is like screaming for the 4-3. It's a waste of time.

    Gotta vent somehow.

Ben has to be a learner IMO. Learn the value of an occasional or more frequent short pass.

That's one of the primary problems most of us have with the guy...he doesn't adjust. Shortening the passing game, incorporating more screens, and running the no-huddle to compensate for the poor line play is just one example.

Seriously? We're the 21st ranked offense in the league. The ONLY time we can hang with an "elite" offense is when we are in the no-huddle. That just happens to be the only time BA doesn't have his hands all over the playcalling. I'd love to commend him for simply getting out of the way.

seriously, how does Arians keep his job?

our offense has scored two TDs in the last 30 + drives...add in another 0-3 in the red zone today.

Although it resulted in only 3 points, the best drive of the game (13 plays 75 yards...in 2 minutes) was right before the half - in the no-huddle. I don't remember seeing it at any other point.

The problem today was scoring however. Sacks, penalties, poor execution, and unimaginative play-calling every time we get close.
