        Exactly.
Not too many teams right after making cuts are going to run out and grab a late draftee RB that has done nothing in camp and then put him on their active roster. Like he said, they already passed on him many times. There are many experienced RBs floating around that could contribute more on an active roster.

        He's on PS.

I live in the heart of GA Tech land and a couple of the local sports talk guys were talking about Dwyer this week. First they were incredulous that he came into camp over weight as a 6th round pick. Just stupid on his part. The other thing was how if you had told them last season that Dwyer would be struggling to make a roster (on the side of getting cut) they would have called you crazy. He's got a lot of talent. They both thought he was a lock to make a roster this year.

He's been injured and shown nothing so he may no tbe grabbed by anyone (sine he'd have to go immediately onto the 53 man roster) but I think he's worth putting on the PS squad and getting him up to speed. He's got some natural ability worth gr ooming.

Ghost, I agree. Surely the guy will slip through waivers and he'd be a good practice squad guy for a year to "grow up". Maybe he can improve like Redman seems to have.

If he does get taken by another team, then well it happens.
I just don't think you can protect someone that clearly won't have much value for us this season.
Maybe as the season goes by, he'll figure something out and he could help us in an injury situation.

I don't think that our sixth rounder is such a great prospect that it crushes us if he is claimed of the PS. I say try to put him on and if he goes....oh well, he's gone.

I would love to see Worthington and Hills make the final roster.

Redman showed a lot and still didn't get picked off our PS. Dwyer has a long way to go.

Worthington is probably 6th on the DE depth chart right now behind Smitty, Keisel, Ziggy, Eason and Sunny Harris. I love Worthington's long-term potential, let him develop on our PS for a year and he can replace Eason next season.
