I would ove to see what all six of those guys could do on the field at the same time. Could be glimpse of the future

I want to see how Crezdon Butler does as a DB. Again heard a lot about him..how he is learning 3 positions as a rookie. Will this guy jump over Lewis,Burnett and Gay in depth chart???

I doubt that Butler jumps over any of those guys. I think they have him learning multiple positions because right now they lack that "swing guy" who can step in at both CB and Free Safety. It may also be that they see him eventually better qualified to fill in for Ryan Clark who is probably only around for a couple more seasons. Don't forget that Ike's and Gay's contracts expire at the end of this season.

If I had to look at what we have a project into the future I would say:

    Keenan Lewis--eventual replacement for Ike
    Joe Burnett--future nickle back
    Butler--future free safety

Of course new additions change this but it seems like it is lining up that way.

Want to see how Mr. Wright does as FB. Also can Redman run dominantly against a 4-3 defense where Steelers struggled last season as per BA.
Wright is the unknown factor in what is shaping up now as a real tough competition for spots on the final 53. Who knows, he could be another Tim Lester or more recently, another Dan Kreider. He is listed as a FB, but his background is really that of a solid RB. If he's really good it would really complicate everything.1. The Tank who some think is already in jeopardy really is in hot water. 2. Those hybrid TE/FB would also be relooked at. 3. If he can really run Dwyer and everyones favorite R-Zone[me too] can hold their breath also. How no one has seen anything of him yet is a mystery.

Crezdon Butler: I am looking for every possible excuse to put him on my final 53 in a couple weeks. No only because I stumbled across his name pre-draft 2010 and posted that how is it possible that he and a couple other CB's had similar lines as some 1st and 2nd rd ranked CB's and yet were like between 250-300 and 300-350 in the rankings. Butler is as fast and faster than almost all of the CB's drafted. He is definitely stronger. His KEI is off the charts for CB's etc etc. I posted this stuff having never seen any of the players. Needless to say, I was stunned when I was watching draft day and the guy said the Steelers had drafted him.

And now, I'm noticing that he can actually play too. From what little I have read and seen on him he has gotten his hands on more freaking balls than anybody. Anxious to see him Saturday as well.

BTW: I' ve been reading but didn't post in the interesting thread about the pre-season predictions. I'll make one now. Butler will get the 1st INT by a CB this pre-season Saturday.
