Dwyer will also be a bust if he fumbles like that "bum" Mendenhall did as a rookie

Pouncey will be a bust when he gets blown off the line by big AFC North NTs or gets a couple of holding calls

Worilds will be a bust when he doesn't average one sack per game

Gibson will be a bust the first game he is not active

Sanders will be a bust when he drops his first pass and will be compared to Sweed

All the other rookies will be busts because Colbert and Tomlin drafted them

Special bust status will be reserved for Kraig Urbik and Frank Summers if they afren't starters this upcoming season. As second year players they should be starters and on the verge of their first Pro Bowls.
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"

        1. Batch gets hurt, Leftwich takes over, fans want Dixon.

        2. McFadden starts, defense still starts out slow.

        3. Arians with his ( never have a TE while I'm incharge ) is going to blow good opportunities with having TE trying to be FB's.

        4. O-line will get better but won't really be able to tell because Hartwig will be such a weak link. Weaker than before.

        5. Timmons will improve some but, I doubt he will ever give us the security that is needed.

Interesting set of predicitions, espescially the Timmons one, IMO. Since 'McFadden starts' is the only confirmable as fact, Ill use that one as your signature prediction.

            6. We will see hints of transition with James Farrior but with whom right now, I'm not certain.

            7. Tomlin might have Dwyer in there more than Moore to see if the game isn't big enough for him. I still think they prefer Moore as the third back in line and want a bgger guy to spell Mendenhall. We will see our last year picks of Tank and Redmen get their chances and to see who remains on the team. Dwyer will really have to blow it not to make the team. The coaches love their pick with the Tank( i don't know why ) Redmen will need to walk on water to remain on the team over the Tank and Dwyer.

I am going to borrow a little information fromthe Ed Douchette chat today and predict Jeff Reed will not handle kick-offds this year. Dan Sepulvada will be cut in favor of Adam Graeselle, who will handle punts and kick-offs.

Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Wow...granted, I have not read today's chat transcript yet, but reports I've been hearing up to this point have indicated that Jeff Reed has been out-kicking both Adam Graessle and Piotr Czech on kickoffs during OTA's so far. Personally, I don't see any way that Sepulveda doesn't make this team, but this Nostradamus thread is all sticking your neck out and making bold predications, and yours would certainly qualify as bold.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Sepulveda is also doing kick-offs...think Reed is getting a message. I read last week that Graessle's punts are terrible. You don't get rid of a good punter like Sepulveda to get a bad punter who can kick off.

I also read somewhere that Graessle's kickoffs left a lot to be desired...no way he makes the team.

What if (knock on wood) Sepulveda gets injured? Anything can happen. It will be interesting to see how far out on a limb someone will go to win this thing. Im not going to down anyones prediction. Whoever's Nostradamus will probably make us all look silly.

                          this from Lolley's recent blog:

"The team finished up its practice today with some special teams work, with Piotr Czech handling all of the kickoffs. The Steelers often use a machine to practice its kickoffs, but they have been using both Czech and punter Daniel Sepulveda in that role a lot this spring."

My prediction is simple. We got UNDEFEATED in preseason. Unlike most preseasons our team is trying to figure out who will play QB....Leftwich and Dixon will get so much playing time that we will be unstoppable in preseason and when they are done we bring in the 3rd string VET in Batch.

I'm a sports bettor and i'm telling you all right now......JUMP on the STEELERS and especially in week 1 of the preseason. Most preseason spreads are no more then -3 and the steelers play at home. This first game will be a STATEMENT GAME and a needed win for the Organization. Letwich/Dixon will play the 1st half as they will need the reps and we dont run the risk of hurting our franchise QB so why not play them???? I mean really......This is a NO BRAINER lay it all on the line REDHOT FOR SURE LOCK in preseason........If the QB situation isnt enough to win you over then look at RB's who we are also trying to figure out.......DWYER will get a ton of playing time, REDMAN last years stud will as well. Also our WR's will also need the extra time as well......Our depth is ridiculous and we face the LIONS in the 1st preseason game............I can see NFL NETWORK NOW covering this 1st week of action..................BIG BEN WHO????? We need to get the focuse off of him and a strong week 1 preseason performance will do that......OUR BOYS ARE COMING TO WIN WEEK 1 of PRESEASON.........Mark it down and this guy right here will be placing $1,000 on the money line.

I'm backing up my prediction and if I win I'm going to VEGAS OCT 9th weekend with my avatar girl and that happens to be their BYEWEEK!!!!!!! LOL....perfect timing huh...hehe

                            HERE WE GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Want insurance on the 1st preseason game look at the Lions back up QB's...LOL....no way they are playing their franchise QB more then 1-2 series. We have no choice but to play our QB's.

or just look at the lions as enough insurance....I actually pull for them, I hate just about every team in the nfl, but the lions are not hated by me, I actually want them to do well..
have fun with your girl in vegas after winning that bet

                                Betting a grand on a pre-season game??? That's a new one...
