I'd say LJ and his offense carved up our D for huge chunks of the game. But he made a few critical mistakes, and we were able to exploit them.

Tomlin & Butler will have to come up with a better plan to defend LJ and Co., or we might not be so fortunate next time we play the Rats.

We did what we needed to, though, and are on top of the NFL world, and 2 games up in the division for now!

No need to fear Lamar, but when you give up 250+ on the ground and trail your opponent in TOP by 11 minutes and let your opponent convert > 50% of 3rd downs and are outgained 2 to 1, I'd say you might want to look at doing something a little different on D.

I will have to disagree again buzz

I hope they employ the same type of scheme next time. they let him run around and make a few plays but overall kept lamar contained. he is bound to escape the pocket from time to time. I was a little disappointed they couldn't put a stamp on him when he escaped but overall I believe they accomplished what they wanted to do in limiting his effectiveness

You still have to force Lamar to beat you with his arm because he will kill you with his legs. His accuracy was off today, even excluding the picks, there were wide open receivers that he missed to keep drives alive or put them in 3rd and short. It's not like the Steelers stopped the running attack today but they did enough.

I knew the play on 4th and 3 was going to be a QB draw from the empty backfield. The Ravens don't trust Lamar's arm yet in that situation but he is going to be a pain in the ass for quite a few years.

Agree with this. No wholesale changes needed. And the bogus late hit was a terrible call.

Prior to today... Lamar Jackson was 22-0 when leading at halftime.

You can bet Dallas was watching the run defense. Lots of Elliot next week...good thing is he can't hold onto the ball.

Hope Bud, TJ and the gang are punching at the ball all game long vs. the Cowgirls.

They no longer have an OL. And at best, the Red Rifle for QB. And a historically bad D.
