Ed Bouchette tweeted Tuesday evening the Steelers signed OT Mike Adams to a contract, without citing any terms.
Adams, a highly touted but baggage-laden second round pick from Ohio State is the fourth Steelers draft pick to sign following 4th round pick Alameda Ta’amu, 5th round pick Chris Rainey and 7th round pick Toney Clemons.

Adams reportedly tested positive for marijuana at the NFL Scouting Combine in February, but a trip to Pittsburgh and a discussion with Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert and head coach Mike Tomlin put him back on their draft board.
Thought to be a first round talent, the Steelers scooped him up when he fell to the bottom third of the second round. He will likely compete for the back-up left tackle position, but the amount of injuries and general instability the Steelers have had in recent years suggests he may see the field frequently.
Fellow rookie offensive lineman, and mini camp roommate, OG David DeCastro, TE David Paulson, CB Terrence Frederick and OG Kelvin Beachum are the remaining draft picks who haven’t signed yet.
