Report: Ramon Foster signs RFA Tender

A report from Howard Balzer of ESPN Radio is that Ramon Foster has signed his RFA Tender.  Foster was signed as a restricted free agent and was given the one year $ 1.26 million offer.  That is the lowest offer and if Foster were to sign elsewhere the Steelers would have received nothing in return since he was an undrafted free agent.
Foster is still likely to start at guard for the Steelers next season.  Which one will depend on who the Steelers draft or pick up in free agency.  Foster is the right guard right now but could move to the left side if needed.  There did not seem to be much interest in Foster by other teams.  He basically was an unrestricted free agent due to his low tender and teams still did not show much interest.  For Foster to sign his tender before April 20th means he either really wants to be a Steeler or he knew nothing better was coming.
