It looks like Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace will be staying in the Steel City for the 2012 season, unless he ends up getting traded, which is highly unlikely.
As of Friday at 4pm, the restricted free agent period ended, which means teams around the league no longer have the opportunity to sign him as a restricted free agent.
Since Wallace hasn’t signed his tender yet, he can’t report to any OTA’s or mini-camps. Right now he’s still looking for the Steelers to sign him to the long-term deal that he desires.
