Gibson Claimed Off Waivers

Thaddeus Gibson, the Pittsburgh Steelers up-and-comer 2010 4th round pick from Ohio State was claimed by the San Francisco 49ers.  Gibson was showing a lot of promise but the Steelers had to release him prior to the New Orleans Saints game to make room for an additional defensive tackle due to the injuries to Brett Keisel and Aaron Smith.
