    Re: Nice approach to FA

I swear some of you seem like you just became Steeler fans last week.
How can you complain about the team being rudderless? We have 6 titles more than ANYONE.
We NEVER jump at FAs in the first week. We pick 1-2 guys that have made it through a week or so and thus we can negotiate easier. We fill spots like G and S not starting CBs or no.1 WRs. We draft those. Our staff definitely needs a retreat and this is a perfect time. They will likely discuss who they are interested in for NEXT week.

Take everything you know about the Steelers in FA, and everything Chadman has said about the steelers in FA- and throw it out the window.

Arnaz Battle, Antwaan Randle El, Will Allen, Ryan Clark, Jon Scott & possibly Bodden & Foote....

          It's Redskins month in Pittsburgh!
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

          Light up the darkness.

To be fair, none of these are huge FA pick ups... but we are definitely moving in a new direction. Older players being retained and FA movement is new to me.
