Ryan Mcbean

I've been woefully overworked, hence a massive lacking in camp research...
has anyone glanced toward the back-up D linemen and come away with any analysis, good or bad? mcbean is one i'm particularly interested in, as his size and potential was something he was drafted for a few years back.

Well there was a lot of pre camp hype about Mcbean but he hasn't shown it at DE. Now there have been some good reports about him on special teams. From the sounds of it, it looks like we've finally found our wedge buster that we've been looking for.

I'm hoping that he can come in though an really just be solid at the DE position. He doesn't have to be a starter this year (Baring injury of course) but just be able to come in and provide a breather for AS or BK.

Chris Hoke has looked good in place of Hampton. I'd like to see him get some time at DE but he really can't because he's too important at Hamptons back up.

Some talk about Kyle Clement, UDFA DE that is making his name known. Way to early though.
