i remember the game when chad brown got his sack after he came back for a second time, it was against the chiefs in 2006, the game where we destroyed them.....but they made the playoffs and we did not. no player has really left here and gone on to succeed other than woodson, chad brown, plax, and a few others, those guys like perry, thigpen, lake, nickerson, kirkland, holmes, greene, john jackson, wayne gandy ODONELL and the important pieces of the 90's and early 2000's really did not do anything after they left hereComment

I disagree strongly regarding Hardy Nickerson. He excelled in Tampa after leaving here.
John Jackson and Wayne Gandy were serviceable LT's in San Diego and New Orleans, respectively.
Yancey and Neil did not live up to expectations that came with the huge contracts they signed.
Age caught up with most of the other guys.Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

Did we bring back Stowes ? He was a linebacker I think that we discovered during the strike year with Steve Bono. Maybe they were just thinking about bringing him back.
I think during that strike year Mullins or Pinney came back to the team but only to injure their back.Comment

Tyronne Stowe played for us for 4 years in the late 80's. Then he moved on to Phoenix, Washington, and Seattle. It doesn't appear that he returned to play in Pittsburgh again.
