Re: Myron Rolle or Taylor Mays or other

Let Chadman get this right- if Mays, at 6-3 231 lbs, DOESN'T run UNDER 4.4 seconds, he'll drop past the middle of the 1st round?

How many other players at 231 lbs have their draft status hanging in limbo on the possibility they don't run under 4.4?

Having watched him play a bit, it doesn't matter what time he runs at the combine. He's fast enough.

Can he prove he has the head for reading offensive plays? That SHOULD decided where he gets drafted.
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

    Light up the darkness.

I remember that same knock on Troy as well. I have to say I am warming to the idea of Mays, especially when combined with Troy....

All safeties look good when combined with Troy. When Troy was healthy for the Denver game but Clark could not play because of the sickle cell trait, Tyrone Carter had 2 interceptions (including one that was run back 48 yards for a TD) to go along with Troy's 1 interception. Tyrone Carter was named NFL Defensive Player of the Week following that game, because he was combined with Troy. TYRONE %$#@ING CARTER!!!
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

100% agree and this is why I am worried about re-signing Clark for a decent amount of money. He didn't look too damn good without Troy out there. Problem is we are almost forced to re-sign him since nobody is waiting in the wings....unless you want to see Ryan Mundy starting at FS for us......

I don't think Clark is coming back. And as far as the Carter comparison in the Denver game? Those were gimmie int's. Ok, maybe I should have said Mays may look GREAT lined up beside Troy?
