    Intriguing FA...John Wendling

    The Bills released 6 players today & one of them was John Wendling, a safety out of Wyoming. Wendling has played special teams mostly so far, but had some potential coming out of college & had the grades to match. Seeing how we're bringing in guys for STs & need some safety help with the hopeful cutting of Tyrone Carter, this guy seems worth taking a flyer on for training camp.     Sounds like he has potential as a special teams guy, but I've never seen him play.

    It will be interesting to see if the Eagles go after any of the guys that Buffalo released. Since they hired Bobby April (who coached the Bills STs last year), I'd imagine that he may push the FO to pick up anybody that he valued on his units.

      I believe he was the Bills ST leader in tackles, but there's a new regime in town so who knows what the problem was?
