can any lame crackpot with a computer now write an article and be "legit"? i don't know who walker is, but his is the same as every other knee jerk reaction in the NFL. do the steelers have to be in the AFCCG or SuperBowl EVERY year for people to realize that our division is still strong? 3 years ago it was the strongest division in football now its outdated? give me a freakin break.

I just want them to be able to put points on the board more consistently after moving the ball enough to break so many of the team's offensive records
Sounds like a mission for CJ Spiller. He has the multi-dimensional talents to make us better in three phases of the game: Running, receiving and returning.

      i couldn't resist.

your pimping of Spiller is reaching 43esque proportions.

I'm gonna start my own pimp thread- hmmmm, lets see....

why the Steelers need Jimmy Clausen
Always happy to entertain the masses You're very welcome.

But seriously, get past looking at the position and look at the talent and potential immediate contributions.
I understand that Spiller can contribute to a team immediately because of his receiving and returning skills in addition to being running back, but we are already going to have enough of a struggle trying to find enough balls to go around to our current receiving options of Ward, Holmes, Wallace, and Miller, plus we have the best return option that we have had in many years in Stefan Logan. We could use a young back-up option to Mendenhall to go along with Mewelde Moore, but that could be found on day 3 of the draft.

Frankly, I think C.J. comes off the board before we pick anyway, so the argument will likely be moot (with Seattle and San Francisco both having 2 first round picks before ours, I think one of those teams jumps on him...he'd be a Reggie Bush like complement to Frank Gore on the Niners, and would be an improvement over Julius Jones, Justin Forsett, T.J. Duckett, Edgerrin James, or whoever else Seattle threw out there recently).
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
