McGahee potential trade bait for Rats

    The News
Willis McGahee could potentially be trade bait if the Ravens want to add more picks in the draft, according to their official team website.

McGahee raised his stock in 2009, by averaging five yards over 109 carries, and scoring 14 total touchdowns (two receiving). He is slated to earn $3.6MM for 2010, and Baltimore could let him go as Ray Rice had a breakout season and LeRon McClain is worthy of handling the No. 2 role at running back.
Crap...this can only help them. It would probably be a wise move to get something for him while they can...that contract number, while normally could be a hinderance, might lure some big spending team to pull the trigger for him as a #2 (really a #1a) back.

His prior season wasn't all that hot though so he's probably not worth as much as they'd like to think he is.

They won't get more than a 5th for him.

It's hard to gauge... it just takes one stupid team (e.g. the Raiders) to offer something ridiculous. We all know there is no way we give up a #1 for an aging RB like McGahee. Truth be told, I don't take on a guy like that for anything less than a more than a 6th or 7th.

RB's are a dime a dozen at that level. There are a few special RB's; everyone else is just lumped togehter.

The talking heads on NFL network are saying LT will have trouble finding a spot for the money he wants.

Parker is screwed! Just do a bus move and take a pay cut and stay with the steeler!

And the rats are nuts to get anyhing for mcgahee! Not even sure what he is set to make this year.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
