    Draft-Day Early Entries...

Here's the list and article per PFT....

NFL announces full list of draft early entries

Posted by Michael David Smith on January 19, 2010 11:52 AM ET
The National Football League announced today the full list of 53 players who have been granted special eligibility for the 2010 NFL Draft.

The 53 players granted early eligibility this year match the highest total ever, tying the 53 who were granted early eligibility in 2008. Last year 46 players entered the draft early.

To gain early entry, a player needs to be at least three years out of high school and needs to renounce his remaining college football eligibility.

Thaddeus Gibson, DE from Ohio State would be great if the Steelers stick with the 3-4....I saw him play at Euclid High School at LB, and he was beastly...

He's not a Vernon Gholston workout warrior type...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

        Possibly...or later...

He kind of reminds me of how Joey Porter played at Colorado State...

I'd rather have Jason Pierre-Paul, DE South Florida instead of Carlos Dunlap.

I would probably break the screen on my TV if you guys took Jermaine Gresham before we can...

Many of the experts on this board would probably break their screens too if we took him. I'd be totally OK if we took him. Gresham and Heath together would be unstoppable especially when we will be looking for a possession receiver as Hines wears out.

Gresham has Hines' skillset in a bigger package.

Don't know that I'd be breaking anything, but I'd be disappointed. IMO, we don't need another TE no matter how good he is. The needs are just too great in too many other areas.

I like Thaddeus Gibson. He has tons of athleticism...plays faster than he times. He is extremely twitchy...terrific quickness...led the Buckeyes with TFL. But, he is raw...even though he is a physical tackler can be often overpowered by bigger linemen. He is a finesse pass rusher...has no real bull rush. He is one of those guys who could go middle/late first...but I'm not sure he won't slip to middle second.

i wonder if the East Carolina player is supposed to Linval Joseph, not Reshad.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

I don't think OLB is a priority in this draft but we need a good backup for James/Woodley.

I would select Eric Norwood from Univ of SC, if he is available in 3rd Rd or take a flier on 4-3 DE who can be converted into an OLB in late round.

I don't think OLB is a priority in this draft but we need a good backup for James/Woodley.

I would select Eric Norwood from Univ of SC, if he is available in 3rd Rd or take a flier on 4-3 DE who can be converted into an OLB in late round.
If by some miracle Gibson falls to the third...I would consider him. But, we have so many needs...and OLB is way down on that list.
                            Trolls are people too.
